Scent-free materials

Many clients who sit quietly are sensitive to fragrance in textiles, cleaners, and new furniture off-gassing. We specify scent-free or low-odour materials and ask suppliers about finishing processes before we order.

What we avoid

Scented candles, reed diffusers, perfume-heavy fabric sprays, and “fresh linen” treatments have no place in our quiet rooms. We also flag rugs and foams that arrive with strong factory smell and prefer aired, simple constructions.

Cleaning guidance

We leave a short care note with unscented cleaning options available in Oslo shops so the room stays neutral after we leave. This is styling guidance, not a medical protocol.
